What I noticed first about this bamboo charcuterie board was that it was shaped like a bottle or jar. I didn’t have a project idea in mind for it I knew it was going to be a great Valentine’s Day project.
It is exactly the fact that it looked like a jar to me that I bought it…and I’m glad I did! It’s shape is what inspired this adorable Valentine’s Day sign craft that I’m sharing with you today. It looks great in my craft room along with the DIY Cricut Jar Labels for Valentine’s Day Sweets and Snacks!

Every year after Christmas ends I think about how great it’ll be to pack away the decorations. I am a big sucker for all things Valentine’s day, love, hearts, pink and all that! Everything from home decor, chocolate candies to the sea of red and pink hearts…and out the door my budget goes!
This darling little Cricut project was created by transforming a bamboo charcuterie board into a sweet Valentine’s Day sign. What really finishes this Cricut project is the adorable little heart cut out on the handle.

DIY Filled with Love Valentine’s Day Sign
It’s always fun to sprinkle around some hearts and love in your home decor for Valentine’s Day. Give your walls some love by creating this super easy DIY Filled With Love Valentine’s Day Sign using Cricut!

1
Wood Heart Shapes
A jar can’t be filled with love without some hearts! I’ve had these various sized wood shapes in my stash forever! I used them to fill my “jar” after painting them in three different shades of pink acrylic paint.
I painted each of the three sizes of wood heart shapes in one of the three shades of pink paint. To attach the wood heart shapes to the board I used hot glue.
Now the Valentine sign is ready for some Cricut vinyl.

2
Cut and Adhere Vinyl
For the ‘filled with love’ words, I used two different fonts to get the end result. I definitely wanted the word ‘love’ to be in a script font.
To help with this step, I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut the words out on permanent black vinyl. You can use any Cricut machine to cut the vinyl. Next I adhered the vinyl using regular transfer tape becasue I didn’t want the permanent vinyl transfer tape to pull up the wood.

3
Attach Twine
Next I added a simple black and white twine to complement the black vinyl. I wrapped it several times around the top and finished it by tying a bow.
It was that simple!
It was a pretty easy Cricut project for Valentine’s Day, don’t you agree? Would you have created this project differently? I’d love to hear your ideas! Drop me a comment below.
