Creating a serene Easter tablescape is easy when you keep your color palette light and airy! Start by building your Easter tablescape around a single element or color. In this post you’ll get all my tips for easily creating a beautiful, serene lavender and pale green Easter tablescape!

Styling or creating a tablescape is much like decorating a room in your home. Start with a color or decor element. That’s what happened when I found the purple ceramic bunny centerpiece. I rarely see purple Easter decor so when I saw this ceramic bunny I grabbed it.

From there everything I found kind of found me first. You ever notice how that tends to happen? You find something you like and then you start to see it everywhere! It also helps when your daughter gets your vision and helps to find all the accent decor elements that will make your vision come to life!

I love anything purple, lavender, pastel and Spring so it was easy to Create A Serene Easter Tablescape using lavender and pale green as the anchor colors. Everything else was designed around these two colors.

Initially I was just going to use my cream colored Mikasa dinnerware set. Then I remembered the beaded glass salad plates that I used for a DIY St. Patrick’s Day table setting. All I needed was 8 plates and once again my daughter came through by finding them all.

I’ve created so many beautiful holiday tablescapes over the years such as this Easy Christmas Tablescape Ideas. Kind of makes me sad that I never took pictures of most of them. But now I picture everything!

Serene Easter Tablescape Details

Let’s dive into the details of this beautiful serene lavender and pale green Easter tablescape that I set for our annual Easter dinner this year (2026). The lavender table linen with tulip print and pale green Spring table runner were the inspiration behind this tablescape. I absolutely love fresh Spring tulips and this tablescape came together beautifully.

1

the Centerpiece

For this Easter tablescape I chose to keep it simple and uncluttered. The centerpiece consisted of a purple ceramic bunny sitting in a grapevine wreath with faux flowers around it. On one side, the next table decor was a white ceramic Easter basket filled with chocolate eggs followed by my Hearth & Hand with Magnolia green glass vase filled with overflowing pink and purple tulips.

The opposite side of the bunny centerpiece consisted of the same look except I used a bunny trio ceramic candy dish for some malted egg candies. I do like my table centerpiece designs to be balanced especially when I’m using a centered or main design element. In this case it was the purple bunny sitting in a grapevine wreath.

Using my Hearth & Hand with Magnolia glass jars for the tulips was an unexpected, yet delightful, surprise. I’ve had these jars for a few years now and I never really knew what to put in them.

Just a day prior, my husband bought me some tulips and I used the only flower vase I had for them. But I also knew my daughter was going to be bringing a few tulip bundles for the table. So the scramble to figure out what to put them in actually turned out to be the perfect vase!

The last decor element in this Easter tablescape centerpieces was to tuck in miniature flocked purple bunnies (see #4 below).

2

the Table Linens

Let’s talk table linens for a minute. Is it just me or does anyone else struggle with getting all the creases and wrinkles out of table linens?! If you get them all out of the tablecloths you use, what’s the secret??

Every table I set I struggle with the wrinkles. It just seems that no matter what I do there are always still wrinkled. Ugh! Okay, I’ll step down from my soap box.

The tablecloth was a beautiful shade of soft lavender with a tulip print (see the picture bubble above for the detail). The table runner was a pale green with a much lighter pale green spring twigs and flowers print. They both paired perfectly for this simple Easter tablescape.

3

The Place Setting

This beautiful Easter tablescape place setting consisted of using cream colored dinnerware, DIY glass bunny plates, gold flatware, delicate wine goblets and colored Easter egg printed paper napkins.

The was the first year I pulled out my beautiful Lenox Butterfly Meadow Etched Wine Glasses since I first got them many years ago. They worked perfectly in this Spring Easter tablescape place setting because they are a set of pastel colors of pink, blue, green and yellow. Although I only had 7 goblets as one was broken years ago.

What really elevated this elegant Easter tablescape were the dinnerware settings with gently scalloped edges and curves paired with the delicate wine goblets in soft pastel Spring colors.

I chose not to use a plate charger for this easy Easter tablescape because I wanted to minimize the area of the place setting so that you could see more of the soft lavender tablecloth.

Tablescape Accent Decor

To add a bit of charm to this overall tablescape design I tucked in a few miniature purple flocked bunnies. They were the perfect little touch to finish off this Serene Easter Tablescape idea. Plus they almost matched the decoupage bunny on the glass salad plates!

Other Accent Decor Ideas

  • Scatter glass beads around the table runner.
  • Put faux grass in candy dishes and then put in the candy.
  • Incorporate colored eggs to pair with the colored eggs paper napkins.
  • Place some moss balls around the centerpiece.

TIPS

  • Shop your home first â€“ Many pieces from this Easter tablescape were things I already had. I simply reuse them in new ways and designs for any season, celebration or holiday.
  • Choose quality cutlery â€“ By incorporating gold cutlery in my tablescape it enchanced my overall design with a touch of elegance to the Spring pastel colors.
  • Definitely add in some DIY â€“ Add a truly personal touch by creating some DIY elements such as the decoupage glass bunny plates.
