DIY Dollar Spot Kitchen Hand Towels Using Cricut EasyPress
If you love to shop the Target Dollar Spot then you’re going to love this super easy project! In Spring you can find all the great Easter finds and most can be customized using your Cricut EasyPress like these cute kitchen hand towels!
This whole Cricut project took less than an hour to complete. Easy, right?! I purchased this adorable set of Easter hand towels that were perfect for adding some Cricut Iron-On vinyl. I wasn’t too worried about whether they were absorbent or not because I was really only using them for decoration.
The easiest way to add Easter decor and charm to your home is to take a simple and easy project, such as these hand towels, and add some personalization to them. By using the Cricut EasyPress you are guaranteed an evenly heated plate for a time-tested (and washed!) iron-on project.

Let’s go over the details first. One of the hand towels has a carrot print and my plan was to add a iron-on Easter bunny image. The second towel was a bit more challenging because not only did it have multiple colors on it there was already a quote that read, “Welcome to our Patch”.
So today I’m sharing with you how I personalized both of these kitchen hand towels. I’m a little obsessed with adding cute Easter charm and decor around my home. The best part is I could easily use either of these hand towels in a guest bathroom too!
Personalize Hand Towels With Iron-On
I started with the easy towel first which was the bunny and carrots towel. I used an image that I found in Cricut Design Space. For the “welcome to our patch” hand towel I added “est. 2001”.

Once the design and words were decided it was simply a matter of cutting them out. But remember when using iron-on vinyl you need to set your image to mirror. Then place the iron-on vinyl shiny side down on a light grip cutting mat.
From there my Cricut Explore Air 2 did the rest. As I weeded out the designs I was sure to start heating up my Cricut EasyPress.
Before I ironed on the designs, I was sure to heat up the towel first. This also helps to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric.
These hand towels are also perfect for gifting! If you are putting together an Easter basket for a friend, these hand towels are great for adding to the basket (and they’re zero calories!). Be sure to check out the DIY Reusable Cricut Easter Basket Idea to inspire your next Cricut craft project!
