Need a holiday gift quick and short on time? The easiest way to create a quick, customized holiday gift is to use a premade gift pouch from Target Dollar Spot. In this post I share how I customized this Comfort and Joy Snowflake Fabric Gift Pouch Using Cricut!

Not only was this Christmas craft easy, it was also super budget friendly! Plus it helps to have a small stash of product blanks because you never know when you’ll need one. The best place to shop for quick and easy Cricut crafts is the Target Dollar Spot (or Bullseye Playground). That’s where I picked up these festive fabric pouches.

I’ve already shared a number of Christmas gifts I’ve created for my four close friends. These snowflake fabric gift pouches were another one of those Christmas gifts. While they didn’t take center stage in my gift bag to them, they were definitely a nice touch.

I could’ve just as easily put a few gifts into these snowflake fabric gift pouches and called it a day…but where’s the fun in that?! When you incorporate your Cricut machine to customize a holiday gift it really lends a personal touch to what is essentially a store bought item.

The best part of this handmade gift is that if you own a Cricut machine, you likely already have everything you need on hand.

Comfort & Joy Snowflake Gift Pouch Details

Since I used a reusable, drawstring fabric gift pouch that already had gold snowflakes on it, I had to do less work to complete this project.

I’ll also preface this project with the fact that I am not selling these pouches. They are for my own personal use. Please be sure to follow Cricut Design Space rules regarding copyright.

1

Make The Design Your Own

Don’t be afraid to take a premade design space image and change it up for your project. Again, since these were gifts to my friends I did decide to leave off a few of the flourishes from the original design (see below).

I didn’t want the Cricut vinyl part of the project to get lost in the overall design which measured 2-1/2″ wide x 3″ high.

You can either separate each element before ironing onto the gift pouch or before you select to cut the image hide the elements you don’t want. I think if I had used those extra flourishes against the snowflake print it would’ve looked too cluttered. Wouldn’t you agree?

Now it’s a perfect little Christmas Comfort and Joy Snowflake Gift Pouch ready to be filled with small gifts and treats!

2

Fill with Goodies

These fabric pouches were not very big. But they were a perfect size to include a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a few Christmas chocolates. Pull the drawstrings closed and these little gift pouches were ready to be put into my friends’ Christmas gift bags!

The Personalized Pot Holders Gift Idea With Cricut was much larger to tuck in some delicious holiday baking mixes. But these little gift pouches can hold quite a bit of chocolate candies for the friend who has a sweet tooth!

Can’t find these specific fabric pouches anymore? That’s okay because you can take a blank canvas pouch and create a gold vinyl snowflake iron-on and then still create the “comfort and joy” in white vinyl!
