Charming Gingerbread Christmas Tree Theme
If you love Christmas as much as I do, then you’ve no doubt seen the plethora of gingerbread Christmas decor out in the stores! It seems the much loved gingerbread theme is still pretty popular today. So I wanted to share with you my past Charming Gingerbread Christmas Tree Theme and decor!
I’d have to say I was bitten by the gingerbread house and Christmas decor bug in 2023. It started all innocently with a small lighted gingerbread house…then Instagram showed me just how important it was to have the monster lighted gingerbread house from Home Goods! LOL
But I have no regrets. I love all of the gingerbread decor that I’ve picked up over the years and I’m still collecting!
The Christmas tree theme I’m sharing with you today is from my 2023 and 2024 decor. If you read My Home Office Blush Pink Flocked Christmas Tree post then you’ll notice that I also reused some of the Christmas tree bulb decor for this setup.

The year in 2023 was quite a big year for me because after years and years of dreaming, I was finally able to finish my dream Ikea craft room! I shared that tour in late 2023 and by November I realized if I wanted to put up my craft room tree I was going to need to make some adjustments.
The best solution at the time was to move my computer desk (which was attached to my Ikea unit) to another wall to use as my coffee station. That left me the space where that desk used to be to put up my flocked Christmas tree.
With my newly designed craft room I also wanted to change up my craft room Christmas decor too. I’ve always had a sweet spot (pun intended!) for Christmas gingerbread decor and I haven’t stopped collecting!
Gingerbread Shops
I can still remember going from store to store to find all the gingerbread decor I could! I mostly picked up pieces from Michaels’ Gingerbread Lane collection.

Gingerbread Cookie Shape Paper Napkin
Add a little deliciously sweet charm to your journal pages and decoupage craft projects!
As I added in new pieces I was taking pictures during different times of the day; some were taken at night, some at dusk and others during the day. So ignore the lighting and just enjoy the warm glow of my gingerbread themed decor!

My gingerbread Christmas tree was beautiful during the daytime; but it was even more magical in the evenings when all the gingerbread houses were lighted.

Flocked Tree Setup
You might recognize this flocked tree from My Home Office Blush Pink Flocked Christmas Tree post. While I absolutely love this flocked tree…I’ve gotta say I really hate the dust it creates. I’ve had this flocked pencil tree from Michaels since about 2020. But no matter the length of time I’ve had it…every year I pull it out it seems like there’s still the same amount of dust! Ugh!
Looking at the tree in this spot of my craft room it doesn’t look big enough for a desk. But, rest assured there was a desk there.

Desk coffee Station
While I don’t use my pink Keurig as much as I thought I would; I do love having it especially in the colder months. It works perfectly for coffee, hot cocoa or even hot water for a nice cup of tea.
This temporary desk placement also served as my printer station and by raising the height of the adjustable legs I was able to slide under my craft bin storage towers.
The perfect Christmas sentiment for this charming gingerbread Christmas Tree and decor theme!

Gingerbread Decor
I absolutely love how this gingerbread theme turned out! For the most part all of the gingerbread decor is in the lighter shade of brown which are from Michaels’ Gingerbread Lane collection. The darker brown decor is mostly from At Home and Marshalls.
The big gingerbread house came from Home Goods. It was quite the coveted gingerbread house decor so I was thrilled when I actually found one. Nearly all of the gingerbread houses light up and makes my office craft room glow in the evenings!

Christmas Planner
Of course every good home decor theme starts with a great organization planning system. In this year I choose the disc-bound Happy Planner Christmas extension pack for a custom Christmas planner cover I found on Etsy.
While I would’ve preferred that my planner cover paired with my theme I just didn’t find a gingerbread cover I liked. We can’t have everything perfect, right?! That’s ok because my search continues!
I pretty much kept the same Christmas decor setup in 2024. I just simply added a few new gingerbread finds into my design and decor.
