Patriotic Let Freedom Ring T-Shirt Using Cricut + Free SVG
Today I’m sharing a red, white, and blue Let Freedom Ring t-shirt idea! Let your patriotic colors shine for the 4th of July Independence Day with this fun, handmade shirt. Use Cricut glitter iron-on vinyl for a little extra sparkly firework burst!
I love creating anything in red, white and blue! So imagine my excitement when I found a similar style project over on the Michaels website. Sadly, the link to the file in Cricut Design Space was broken. So, what’s a creative girl to do? Create your own, of course!
Once I finished creating this patriotic t-shirt for my husband, daughter and myself; I wanted to share it with all of you wonderful BTD readers and followers!

Patriotic Let Freedom Ring T-Shirt
This Cricut Project isn’t limited to just t-shirts. You can resize it for onesies, tote bags, towels, blankets and so much more. You could even make the firework burst different colors to mimic real fireworks!
To be able to place the words and even the firework burst where I wanted, I cut each element individually. That way, I could play around with the placement of the firework and set it behind the word “freedom”. All I did was simply clipped off the ends of the firework spray that were unnecessary.
CRICUT TIPS
- Be sure to mirror the design, before cutting.
- Place your iron-on vinyl shiny side down, before cutting.
- Especially with the firework burst, be sure to gently weed away any negative space.
- Use the recommended times and temperature settings for the iron-on vinyl you are using.
