Fresh Flower Market Wooden Toolbox Decor
Before starting this Cricut Project I decided I wanted to give the wooden toolbox an antique or vintage look. I achieved that by sanding down some of the edges all around the toolbox using a fine grit sandpaper.

If you antique any wood project, be sure to wipe down the wood with a barely damp cloth. This helps to remove any wood dust that might prohibit the vinyl from adhering correctly.
01. Cut, Weed & Apply Vinyl
The hardest part of this project was making sure to only weed out the negative space. With all the intricate leaf detail around the rose it was important to go slowly.

I was also testing out a new transfer tape and my image didn’t burnish on exactly straight. But by the time I get my faux flowers of choice in the toolbox, I won’t even notice that! Now for the last step in this project.
02. Add Faux Flowers
The first thing I did was using wire cutters I cut down each flower and organized them by bloom. That way I knew what I was working with so that I could create balance in my faux flower arrangement.

Next I placed the floral foam brick into the bottom of the wooden toolbox and started assembling the flower arrangement. I started with placing the largest blooms first at each corner (luckily there was four of them!). From there the arrangement took its’ own path and I just distributed the flowers to get the best look.
At this step I have the option to use hot glue to hold the flowers in the floral brick. Although I didn’t do this step I can always go back in later and hot glue the stems in the brick.
